- Posted today
Our goal is to be carbon neutral by 2030. That’s why we built The Blender in Rotterdam: our own beverage production facility, where every day we strive to be as kind as possible to the planet, to people, and to our business.
The Blender is now running at full capacity and demonstrates what a factory can look like when sustainability is embedded in everything you build from the very first idea. We hope our approach will inspire other companies to go that extra mile when building a new factory of their own.
Background around the role
The blender is innocent’s very first factory, and we’ve got a pretty big ambition: to become the Earth’s Favourite Little Healthy Drinks Factory. We make over 400 million bottles every year, and keeping that production flowing takes great planning behind the scenes. As a Materials Scheduler, you’ll help make sure the right ingredients, blends and packaging arrive at the right time, so our smoothies and juices can keep making their way to drinkers across Europe. You'll be a key part of a team that solves problems quickly, works closely together and never loses sight of the bigger picture.
You'll be
- Planning and ordering ingredients, blends and packaging materials to support production.
- Managing stock levels and balancing supply with changing production requirements.
- Working closely with Production Planning to prevent or resolve shortages.
- Creating and maintaining delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Coordinating the introduction of new materials while reducing waste from old stock.
- Building strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Using data and reporting to identify risks, improve performance and support decision-making.
- Supporting planning improvements, system developments and continuous improvement projects.
You'll have
- Experience in supply chain, materials planning or a similar operational planning role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
You'll get
- A salary within pay scale 7 (€3,561–€4,591)Attractive secondary employment benefits, as outlined in our own innocent Collective Labour Agreement (CAO)
- The opportunity to help shape materials planning in innocent's newest and most ambitious factory.
- Experience across a broad range of materials, from ingredients and blends to packaging.
- Close collaboration with Operations, Quality, Production Planning, Inbound Logistics and supplier partners.
- Hands-on experience improving Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and processes.
- Opportunities to lead improvement initiatives that reduce waste, improve service levels and optimise costs.
- A front-row seat to how a high-volume manufacturing operation keeps millions of bottles moving every year.
At innocent, we believe in equal opportunities and therefore place a high value on diversity. We are an inclusive organisation where everyone is welcome, can be themselves, and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
