Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).
It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.
About the role At innocent, we call our CSR strategy Force for Good (FFG) — because we believe business should leave things better than it found them. As our CSR & Retail Engagement Specialist, you’ll bring our central Force for Good and Communications strategy to life across the UK & Ireland. Your mission? Make our purpose show up everywhere it matters- in stores, with customers, with drinkers, and across our internal teams, all while keeping our brand reputation safe, sparkling and strong. You’ll weave our sustainability, nutrition and B Corp commitments into retail and shopper activations in ways that are meaningful, measurable and genuinely felt. If you choose to accept this mission (yes, it is a bit of a mission), you’ll help prove that business can nurture both people and planet, while building brand love and supporting healthy growth. You’ll be…
- A key partner to our UK & Ireland teams, bringing the central FFG & Comms strategy to life both internally and externally.
- A purpose champion, embedding responsible business ambition into retail and shopper activations.
- A connector across local and central teams, ensuring alignment, consistency and brilliant execution around our purpose.
- A trusted representative of the FFG agenda with customers, agencies, NGOs and other external partners.
- A guardian of innocent’s brand reputation, supporting on issue and crisis management when needed.
- The voice of Force for Good for our internal teams (especially our GTM teams), inspiring and equipping them to use purpose as a true business USP.
- Strong project management skills and a natural ability to join the dots across teams.
- Brilliant communication and storytelling skills, you can make purpose-led topics land with different audiences.
- The ability to simplify complex ESG information so it’s clear, relevant and actionable.
- An understanding of ESG reporting requirements and the wider responsible business landscape.
- Experience managing external stakeholders (customers, agencies, NGOs and beyond).
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with real ownership and accountability.
- A collaborative, flexible approach (we’re big on teamwork here).
- A meaningful, purpose-driven role where your work creates real impact.
- The opportunity to lead local FFG projects, partnerships and shopper activations that genuinely move the needle.
- Ownership of tangible activities that contribute directly to business performance.
- The chance to represent innocent’s purpose both internally and externally, building meaningful customer partnerships.
- A key role in protecting and strengthening our brand reputation.
- Close collaboration with teams across FFG & Comms, Shopper Excellence, Brand, Sales, Finance and Supply both locally and centrally.
We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.
In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target-based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.
We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.
Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.
Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
