Freelance Logistics Planner

Our goal is to be CO₂ neutral by 2030. That’s why we built the blender in Rotterdam: our very own drinks factory where we try, every single day, to be a little kinder to the planet, to people, and to our business.
The blender is now up and running, showing what a factory can look like when you weave sustainability into every pipe, panel and idea from the very beginning. We want our approach inspires other companies to take that extra step when they build a factory of their own.
Freelance Logistics Planner (Rotterdam, 2 months)
Our Supply Chain keeps our drinks flowing from blender to shelf (and fridge). And good planning is what keeps everything running smoothly. We’re looking for a freelance Logistics Planning Coordinator to jump in and support the team over the next 2 months. You’ll step straight into the daily operation, helping us keep stock moving and service levels high. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll need to hit the ground running and make an impact from day one.
You’ll be
Creating daily and hourly truck plans within a 0–2 week planning window
Coordinating with our 4PL (fourth-party logistics provider), warehouse, planning and customer supply teams to solve shortages quickly
Managing stock levels to hit agreed targets while balancing warehouse capacity and lead times
Keeping stock data accurate in our systems (including SIMBA) by resolving issues daily
Supporting inventory processes and fixing errors within agreed timelines
Managing product transitions (like packaging or label changes) smoothly
Supporting supplier payments by receipting logistics activities and spotting discrepancies
Tracking performance and sharing insights with the wider team
You’ll have
Experience in logistics, supply chain or planning – and able to get up to speed quickly
Strong organisational skills and a love for solving problems
Confidence working with multiple stakeholders and external partners
Sharp attention to detail, especially when working with data and systems
A proactive mindset – you don’t wait for problems to find you
Availability to start immediately and make an impact from day one
You’ll get
A fast-paced, hands-on role at the heart of our day-to-day operations
Close collaboration with planners, warehouse teams, suppliers and our 4PL partner
The chance to step straight into a running operation and make a difference quickly
Real ownership over planning decisions that impact customers
Exposure to our systems, processes and ways of working
The satisfaction of keeping things running smoothly when it matters most
At innocent, we truly care about making our company a great place to work. That’s why we do everything we can to ensure everyone feels fulfilled and has the opportunity to shape a career that suits them. There are plenty of chances to explore new paths or take on fresh challenges. And yes, the smoothies are free.
We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.
Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring
